Ein kleines faszinierendes Stück für E-Gitarre und Streichquartett des amerikanischen Komponisten Derek Bermel (*1967) aus dem Jahre 2011 , was im Laufe seiner Entwicklung so einiges vom Barock über die Romantik bis zur Rockmusik einsammelt. Mir macht es ausgesprochen Spaß....

Der amerikanische Gitarrist und Komponist Steven Mackey (*1956) schrieb 2000 ein Konzert für Gitarre und Orchester mit dem "verlockendenden" Titel Tuck and Roll.
Hier ist es zu hören mit dem Komponisten an der Gitarre und der New World Symphony unter Leitung von Michael Tilson Thomas. Eine AUfzeichnung aus dem Jahre 2000. Gute Unterhaltung

Multi-genre avant-garde pioneer Elliott Sharp’s "Momentum Anomaly” suite seems less a formal musical composition in the traditional sense than a living, breathing, yet-evolving expression woven from the prolific NYC composer’s ongoing explorations technical and artistic in nature. Despite being a personal favorite of Sharp’s, Momentum Anomaly is a story never twice told the same when played live, its core expanded upon and reborn with each retelling. The performances are informed in part by memory, preserving a general structure with anchoring themes and phrases shared, but each realization emerges unique, reflecting the flexible vocabulary of the master’s intuitive connection to his physical tools as well as internal palette du moment.
Der französische, den Spektralisten zugeordnete, Komponist Hugues Dufour schrieb 2019-2020 das Werk "L'atélier rouge d'après Matisse" für elektrische Gitarre, Perkusion, Klavier und Saxophon. Das Stück beginnt mit Vibraphon und Klavier. Es gesellen sich Saxophone und Gitarre hinzu. Die Klangflächen der Gitarre bestimmen dann über weite Teile den Charakter.
Erst in ein paar Monaten darf man das inspirierende Gemälde von Matisse ohne Urheberrechtsverletzung zeigen, daher momentan nur ein Link

Es bleibt dem Hörer erstmal überlassen in welcher Form das Gemälde als inspirierede Quelle gedient haben mag.... 
Hugues Dufourt schrieb auch 1997 mit La cité des saules ein Werk für E-Gitarre und elektronsiche Transformation. Dufour entführt uns hier in schwebende Klangwelten, die aber trotzdem wenig mit Morton Feldman zu tun haben ...
