Klingt auch interessant, ist aber gewöhnungsbedürftig!
Vielleicht hole ich mir den RING Zyklus von Asahina.
This live was a part of Japan premiere performances, taking four years, of a Ring cycle with Tokyo's most elite singers and players at the time. In Japan, the conductor Takashi Asahina(1908-2001) is still highly admired as one of legendary old masters of Bruckner specialist ranked with Jochum, Wand and Celibidache e.g. For the maestro, nearly 80 years old, this was the first and last opportunity to conduct a Ring cycle. As for the singing, indeed the Japanese singers lacking enough power and technique are no match for western Wagnerians of the same period, but I can say not so terrible.
Without thinking too seriously, enjoy extremely unconventional "a Ring in Japanese style" !
